PLAYERS RATINGS: Arsenal 1-4 Chelsea

A very poor match for Arsenal FC against their London Premier League rival, Chelsea FC, where Arsenal lost with a wide score, 4-1. Arsenal conceded their first goal by their former player, Oliver Giroud, who assisted another goal as well.

The three goals were scored by Eden Hazard and Pedro, where Arsenal couldn’t come back against the Blues, even though Alex Iwobi scored a goal that gave Arsenal some hope, but Chelsea scored the fourth goal shortly after that.

We will rate our players after every match, here is Arsenal Insider players ratings:

Petr Cech: Not the farewell he deserves. Made some crucial saves though. 5.5/10

Sokratis: Was at fault for the fourth goal, was able to do better. 5/10

Laurent Koscielny: A poor match. 5/10

Ainsley Maitland-Niles: Was active in the first half, but int he second half he was dreadful and gave a penalty for Chelsea. 4/10

Nacho Monreal: A very below average match. 5/10

Granit Xhaka: Was close to scoring on the 28th minute, but didn’t do much other than that. 6/10

Sead Kolasinac: Was trying, but not so good. 6/10


Joe Willock: Doesn’t have the experience for such matches. 5/10

Matteo GuendouziNot sure why did he play instead of a forward player. 5/10

Alex Iwobi: Was good, scored minutes after getting on the pitch. 5/10

Man of the match: None of Arsenal players.

Unai Emery: A poor second half, and a very average first half where Arsenal didn’t have a single shot on target. In the second half, the substitutions were not logical, while playing Joe Willock instead of a forward. 4/10
