Arsenal continues the shaky performances and results in different competitions this season and has broken a negative 7 years old record after yesterday’s loss.
Arsenal has lost yesterday, Thursday, 1-0 against the Bundesliga side, FC Koln, in the Europa League away from home. That loss, adds to Arsenal 10 other lose away from home this calendar year which makes them 11 loses away from home this year, the worst record for Arsenal since seven years, back in 2010.
Arsenal loss against FC Koln came after the Gunners dominated the North London Derby and won over their main historical rival, Tottenham Hotspurs, 2-0 at the Emirates stadium. The loss to FC Koln is the 11th this year, and the fifth this season after Arsenal’s losses against Stoke City, Liverpool, Watford, and Manchester City.
On the other hand, FC Koln couldn’t win any match this season in the German league, Bundesliga, and is in the relegation zone with two points only, and yesterday their won against Arsenal boosted their Europa League hopes to qualify for the next round if they manage to win against Red Star Belgrade, and BATE loses to Arsenal.
On the other hand, Arsenal has officially qualified for the next round and will be on the top of their group with 10 points so far, regardless of Arsenal’s last match against BATE.
