A great fight in the first half. Fast passes and attacking from Bellerin’s side. And Dominated the first half with 51% possesion for Arsenal and 10 shoots on target, while Chelsea had only four. The second half was the real fight.
Arsenal gained one valuable deserved point, actually Arsenal deserved three points. Knowing that this is the first point Arsenal gains in Stamford Bridge since SIX years.
We will rate our players after every match, here is Arsenal Insider players ratings:
Petr Cech: A great one to one save against Pedro. 7/10
Shkodran Mustafi: Was almost behind Chelsea’s first goal by letting Pedro alone. But Morata was in his pocket. 8/10
Nacho Monreal: Except for few crazy moves, he was decent. 7/10
Hector Bellerin: One of the best players offensively and defenselessly. Maybe one of the best games he plays since more than a season. But booked as well like Kolasinac. 8/10
Sead Kolasinac: Was going to score a goal similar to the one against Koln. Brilliant performance as well but booked at the end and was going to get kicked. 7/10
Alex Iwobi: Was even defending and a good match offensively. 7/10
Granit Xhaka: What a screamer. Couple inches away from being on the score sheet. 7/10
Aaron Ramsey: What a driblle! He was so close on scoring but the sidebar was Blue… He created several chances as well. 8/10
Danny Welbeck: A great jump and header in the 16th minute but like usual, a poor finishing.
Alexander Lacazette: It reminded us by Sanchez’s goal against Man United two seasons ago. He was almost going to score. But he wasn’t in his top form. 6/10
Alexis Sanchez: Didn’t have much time to impress, but in the 25 minutes he played he had a good impact and fought. 7/10
Man of the match: Actually Arsenal players were all pretty good in general. But for me Aaron Ramsey was the best. Good dribbles and was so dangerous.
Arsene Wenger (manager): Good tactis that made Conte confused how to play. This isn’t the usual Arsenal and that’s what Arsenal needs. He deserves credit for today’s game. 8/10
