Arsenal Match Report And Players Ratings And Man Of The Match Against Koln

Arsenal had a TERRIBLE first half against the 18th club in the Bundasliga. Several mistakes and the players playing without any concentration like Liverpool’s match. But in the second half with Kolasinac getting in and scoring early, everything changed and then Sanchez and Bellerin scored.

We will rate our players after every match, here is Arsenal Insider players ratings:

David Ospina: The reason behind the first goal and was going to cause a penalty if it wasn’t an offside. 3/10

Per Metsaker: Did his best but doesn’t seem able to handle Klon’s young and fast players. 5/10

Rob Holding: Shaky first half and was nervous. He was dropped off in the last two games maybe that affected him. 5/10

Nacho Monreal: couldn’t do much 6/10

Hector Bellerin: One of the only running players on the field and crosses but no one to convert.

Alex Iwobi: missed a clear chance in the second half and seemed lost in Ramsey’s position. 5/10

Mohammed Elnenny: wasn’t in his top form. 5/10

Maitland-Niles: accurate nice long passes and was closed on scoring in one to once chance. He deserves more chances. 7/10

Theo Walcott: missed a one to one chance in the first half and the second half again one to one chance shoot it 180 degree up as a defender.  2/10

Oliver Giroud: Random headers and missing chances. 4/10

Alexis Sanchez: Arsenal’s best player in the first half and second half alongside with Kolasinac. Accurate and dangerous long passes and was everywhere even defending and scored a wonderful goal and was behind the third goal indirectly. 8/10

Sead Kolasinac: Arsenal’s savior like in Chelsea’s match. Scored one goal and changed the game and also was behind the third goal alongside with Sanchez. 7/10

Jack Wilshere: First match since maybe more than a year. N/A

Reiss Nelson: Didn’t have time to get rated as well N/A

Man of the match: It’s hard to choose between Sanchez and Kolasinac. But I will go for Sanchez. He played his first full match with Arsenal since May, and scored one goal and was behind the third goal. Was Arsenal’s best player in the first half as well.
