Arsenal Match Report And Players Ratings And Man Of The Match Against Norwich City.

Eddie Nketiah, the new name that Arsenal fans are familiar with now and Arsenal tonight’s hero. A fresh legs and fresh player came minutes before the end of the first half, which left everyone in shock, but changed everything with his two brilliant goals. He made us forget all the bad side of Arsenal today, and remember this new talent.

We will rate our players after every match, here is Arsenal Insider players ratings:

Macey:  Not the perfect debut any player would dream of by conceding an early goal, but can’t be blamed for the goal. However, saved Arsenal from several chances and was one of the night’s heros. 8/10

Mathieu Debuchy:  Not so good as a central defender. Can’t really mark players properly in that role. 4/10

Mohamed Elneny: definitely   not a defender. Why can’t Wenger just play 4 in the back? 4/10

Rob Holding:  average, tried to help offensively. 5/10

Reiss Nelson: He has a bright future, an amazing run into Norwich’s area. Superb young talent. 8/10

Ainsley Maitland-Niles: He still needs more experience and playing time. But a good match in general. 7/10

Francis Coquelin:  average. 5/10

Jack Wilshere: A fighter on the pitch, but can’t do everything alone.  Alongside with Nelson were the best duo in this game. 7/10

Theo Walcott:  Shaky, wasn’t the game changer. 5/10

Alex Iwobi: Tried to help offensively, was more effective than Walcott. 6/10

Olivier Giroud: I expected him to be more on target, especially after winning the best goal award. 5/10

Subs

Akpom: Couldn’t impact.. N/A

Nketiah: What an impact after seconds from coming off the bench. and then scored the second goal in the extra time. That’s what a super sub is. What an energy, what a pace, what a talent. 9/10
Dasilva: N/A
 Willock: N/A

Man of the match: It’s the new name, Nketiah, this young lad made his debut for Arsenal and became the night’s hero. Energetic, fresh, and passionate. I hope Wenger gives him more chances in the Europa league and EFL Cup. Even the league he may get couple minutes, he may be the next Rashford who started in a such way.

Arsene Wenger (manager):  Not sure if Nketiah’s sub was on purpose, or he was lucky. Bringing a player to make his debut minutes before the end of the match when the team is losing is a huge risk. But maybe a new star is born today. 6/10
