Arsenal will play tomorrow one of the biggest Derbies in the world, the North London Derby, against Tottenham Hotspurs in a must win match for Arsenal.
When and where is the match?
When: The match will be on Saturday, November 18th at 1:30PM BST.
Where: Emirates Stadium
Who will play?
Arsene Wenger isn’t the manager that changes a lot of players every match, especially with the lack of Champions League this season. However, we expect a couple changes.
We predict the starting Xl to be as follows:
Goalkeeper: Petr Cech
Defenders: Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal
Midfielders: Kolasinac, Ramsey,Granit Xhaka, and Hector Bellerin
Forward: Iwobi,Lacazette,and Sanchez
Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi
Mesut Ozil is always suffering against the big teams. In addition, he played in two matches with his national team, Germany, against England and 90 minutes against France. Ozil may not be physically ready, while on the other hand Alex Iwobi is in a good form now and has scored twice against Argentina in the 4-2 with Nigeria.
We expect Wenger to replace Ozil with Iwobi, who is better defensivley and in small areas. On the other hand, Alex Iwobi had a good performance against Manchester City.
A win is a must for Arsenal, but a loss will not be accepted by anyone, especially against Tottenham. If Arsenal wins, it will be a narrow win by one goal, otherwise, we expect a draw. Hopefully not a loss…
Arsenal has won more matches against Tottenham than loses. Arsenal won 80 times, lost 62 times, and drew 51 times in the North London Derby.
