Arsene Wenger Gives Santi Cazorla Injury Update And His Latest Expected Return Date

Arsene Wenger has revealed the latest injury updates for Arsenal players ahead of Red Star Belgrade in Europa League on Thursday, November 2.


Arsenal has lost its creativity in the midfield since Santi Cazorla’s injury last October, around a year ago, which left Aaron Ramsey the only fit player who can help in the team’s creativity, before Wilshere recent come back from loan and injury.

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Santi Cazorla’s treatment, who is suffering from an Achilles injury, is going as planned. Wenger said: “The first signs are positive, but still he, Cazorla, has not played for one and a half years.”

Wenger continued:”Cazorla is not in full training yet, he needs a few games with the reserve team. So I think if all goes well, it will be after Christmas.”


Knowing that Santi Cazorla’s contract expires next summer, and Arsenal didn’t renew his contract yet, alongside with other key players such as Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil
