Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, has revealed new details about Danny Welbeck’s injury who picked it up yesterday against Chelsea where Arsenal drew 0-0.
Danny Welbeck was injured yesterday at the 73rd minute where he is suspected to be suffering a groin injury. However, Arsenal is fearing that the groin may be teared which means he will be out for much longer than expected.
Welbeck was expected to miss around two weeks and four matches for Arsenal. However, the latest reports suggest that Welbeck may be out until November instead of early October. Moreover, further scans will be undergone tomorrow, Tuesday to determine his case.
Wenger said that Welbeck’s injury “Isn’t easy” and he won’t risk him soon in the team and will give him enough time to recover.
