Arsenal FC fans have received a huge transfer boost during the summer transfer windows after several trusted sources have confirmed that Arsenal will be announcing a new goalkeeper within 24 hours.
Arsenal are keen to see a new goalkeeper in Arsenal’s shirt after the disappointing performance from the Colombian goalkeeper, David Ospina, and the aging Czech Republic goalkeeper, Petr Cech, who can’t continue playing in the top form after being 35 years old.
According to the German newspaper and website, Bild, Arsenal have finally reached an agreement with the German Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen, to sign their main goalkeeper, Bernd Leno, for an estimated fee of 22million Euros.
Bernd Leno is on Arsenal’s radar since the beginning of this summer transfer windows where Arsenal’s new manager, Unai Emery, is keen to fix the defensive issues the team is suffering from by signing a new young and experienced goalkeeper, in addition to defenders.
Bernd Leno is reported to be heading to Arsenal tomorrow, Tuesday, where he will be officially announced as a new goalkeeper for the Gunners in the Premier League after preferring to join Arsenal FC instead of the Italian Serie A team, Napoli FC.
