Arsenal FC and Unai Emery, Arsenal’s new manager, have officially revealed the official starting Xl that will be debuting in the Premier League season 2018/2019 in Matchday one where the Gunners will be eyeing a win against the Premier League champions at home, Emirates stadium, in a very tough and crucial match.
The starting Xl has some surprises where Petr Cech is starting instead of Brend Leno, Arsenal’s new goalkeeper, and Mattéo Guendouzi is starting instead of Lucas Torreira or Mohamed Elneny, which is risky to a point against Manchester City due to Mattéo Guendouzi’s age.
Arsenal’s starting Xl is as the following:
Goalkeeper: Petr Cech.
Defenders: Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Shkodran Mustafi, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, and Hector Bellerin.
Midfielders: Granit Xhaka, Mattéo Guendouzi, and Aaron Ramsey
Forward: Mesut Ozil, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Our predicted score
It won’t be an easy match for Arsenal at all, especially with the defensive issues and injuries where Arenal are missing three defenders due to injuries.
Manchester City isn’t an opponent that is easily beaten, at home or away, but we expect Arsenal to play under their new manager and impress where the Gunners will equalize 2-2.
