Arsenal has received an injury boost by the return of their central defender, Shkodran Mustafi, from the injury ahead of Tottenham Hotspurs clash on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, has officially confirmed in a pre match conference ahead of the North London Derby clash, that the German defender, Shkodran Mustafi, is back from the injury and had a full training with his teammates. However, he may not feature due to his absence for long time without playing.
Arsene Wenger said:”Shkodran Mustafi will have a final fitness check tomorrow, Friday. I will make a decisions on Shkodran Mustafi tomorrow.”
Shkodran Mustafi was injured since around six weeks after picking up an injury with his national team, Germany, in an international match against Bosnia last month. Arsene Wenger may include the German defender in the starting squad against Tottenham if he passes the test.
Arsenal was suffering from defensive issues against Manchester City, which made Arsene Wenger play with Francis Coquelin as a central back in the match Arsenal lost 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
