Lacazette Breaks Brian Marwood Record And Makes A Historical New Record With Arsenal

The former Lyon striker who arrived to Arsenal this summer as the most expensive Player in Arsenal for 52m GBP, has broke Brian Marwood’s record with Arsenal, and made his own historical record.

Eventhogu Lacazette isn’t having performing as expected from him so far, but he was able to get into Arsenal’s history as the best striker even by scoring four Premier League goals in the first three matches at home, a record that was held before by Brian Marwood by three goals in three matches only in 1988.

Lacazette scored a header after Sanchez’s free kick was blocked by West Brom’s keeper, and then a penalty in the second half.

By scoring two goals against West Brom, Lacazette helped Arsenal also set a record of scoring against West Brom in all their 23 matches before, which is 100% record as the best in the league.
