OFFICIAL BBC: Defender Set To Sign 4 Years Contract TODAY

Arsenal are reported back in the transfer actions after the world cup group stage is over where several sources such as BBC confirm that Arsenal are to announce a four years contract for a defender today, Friday.

Arsenal just signed two players during this summer transfer windows, the Swiss international defender, Stephan Lichtsteiner, and the German goalkeeper, Brend Leno, from the Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen.

According to the trustworthy source, BBC, Arsenal are reported to be so close to signing a new four deals contract with the English defender, Calum Chambers, where the young defender is reportedly agreeing to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium for four more years.

Arsenal’s new Spanish manager, Unai Emery, is reported that he wants more competition in the squad, and he wants Calum Chambers to compete for the other players in the defense for the starting position where at the moment Arsenal has just one senior defender who plays as a centre back, Shkodran Mustafi, where Laurent Koscielny is set to return at the end of the year, by November or December after picking up an injury at the end of last season.

Knowing that Calum Chambers joined Arsenal back in 2014 and made 48 appearances for Arsenal during his three seasons at the club.
