Oliver Giroud Gets Into France History

Oliver Giroud, Arsenal and France’s national team player, has got into France’s team history after his goal against Wales in France’s 2-0 win yesterday, Friday.

Oliver Giroud has scored yesterday against Wales on the 71th minute his 29th goal in his national team career with France where he played 69th matches with Les Bleus.

His goal against Wales, got him into the national team history as the 7th all time top scorer for the French national team. France;s too scorer is Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, with 51 goals in 123 matches.

On the other hand, Oliver Giroud has the best scoring rate among all the current strikers in France’s senior strikers where he scores 0.41 goal every match, while Antoine Griezmann has an average of 0.38 goals every match, and finally Karim Benzema has 0.33 goals every match. Knowing that Karim Benzema, Real Madrid’s player, wasn’t called for the national team since around two years due the issue with his teammate Mathieu Valbuena.

Oliver Giroud can break Zinedine Zidane’s historical record with France if Giroud scores two goals or more against Germany on Tuesday.
