PLAYERS RATINGS: Arsenal 0-1 West Ham

Another poor and terrible match by Arsenal and Unai Emery who started with the wrong formation and overdefended.

Arsenal were terrible in the first half, no one creating in the midfield with only Alex Iwobi playing behind the strikers, who missed a lot of chances and lacked service.

The first loss for Arsenal at the Hammers home since 12 years, a terrible record for Emery.

We will rate our players after every match, here is Arsenal Insider players ratings:

Brend Leno:  Wasn’t tested a lot today. 6.5/10

Shkodran Mustafi: The best in Arsenal defense today in the first half. Got booked and subbed off later on. 6/10

Laurent Koscielny: Was good in the build-up, and got closer to his form in the defense. 7/10

Sokratis: Was okay today. 6.5/10

Sead Kolasinac: Was dangerous in the first half and trying to create. 7/10

Ainsley Maitland-Niles: A poor first half, didn’t do much. 6/10

Granit Xhaka: A poor match and his poor clearance led to West Ham scoring their first goal early in the second half. Got subbed off. 5/10

Matteo Guendouzi: A good talent, but Emery is burning him with such pressure and such matches directly. 6.5/10

Alex Iwobi: Lost a lot of balls and was the only one creating in the first hour or so. 6/10

Alexander Lacazette: Was better than Aubameyang, was getting near the net easily sometimes, but couldn’t score and missed a lot. No service as well. 6/10

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Not in his form at all. Lost a clear chance as well on the 64th minute. As well, no service in the first hour or so. 5/10

Lucas Torreria:  improved the creativity. Had to start. 6/10

Hector Bellerin: Nothing much to do. 5/10

Aaron Ramsey: As well, had to start. 6/10

Man of the match: None of Arsenal players.

Unai Emery: A weird formation. Over defending against a team that he should be attacking. A poor match and tactics. 6/10
