Another disastrous match for Arsenal away from home, where they lacked the ability to score and dominate the match, where even they couldn’t even dominate the possession in the first half, after having only 27% possession.
Arsenal’s right back, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, received two yellow cards which led to a red card, that complicated Arsenal’s mission at the King’s Power Stadium. In the second half, Arsenal conceded twice from defensive mistakes where all of the three goals Laurent Koscienly was involved in them where he failed to clear the ball and failed to mark anyone. Sokratis couldn’t do much against Leicester City’s pace in the attack. Arsenal were going to lose with a huge result, but thanks to Brend Leno who made several saves, Arsenal conceded just twice.
Arsenal seemed not focusing on the Premier League where they seemed trying to save their energy and determination for the match on Thursday against the Spanish La Liga side, CF Valencia in the Europa League semi-final.
