PLAYERS RATINGS: Arsenal 2-3 Chelsea And Man Of The Match.

A very disappointing first 25 minutes where Chelsea dominated on the pitch, and in the last 20 minutes of the first half Arsenal recovered and scored two goals to equalize after conceding two goals within 25 minutes by Chelsea.

The team played without defense, Arsenal’s defenders committed a lot of mistakes that no other Premier League player would commit, especially in such crucial matches.

On the other hand, the team had a better defensive second half and they were more clinical on target where they tried to balance between the attack and defense.

We will rate our players after every match, here is Arsenal Insider players ratings:

Petr Cech:  Couldn’t do much for the goals he conceded. Not really at fault. 6/10

Shkodran Mustafi: A very poor performance, so slow and far away from his position. 5/10

Sokratis Papastathopoulos: As well, a very poor match and was at fault for both goals as well. 5/10

Hector Bellerin: Made some good attacking contributions and croses. 6/10

Nacho Monreal: Helped in the attack, especially in the crosses. But wasn’t so good defensively. 6/10

Granit Xhaka:  Again, a poor match. Couldn’t help in the defense as a holding midfielder. 5/10

Matteo Guendouzi: A good and impressing match compared to his experience and age.A promising talent. 7/10

Alex Iwobi: Scored an important goal to equalize, but missed another. A good match. 7/10

Henrikh Mkhitaryan:  Like Iwobi, missed a chance but scored an important goal in Arsenal’s first-half comeback. 7/10

Mesut Ozil: Didn’t really contribute to the attack, another disappointing match. 5/10
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Missed two chances, wasn’t clinical and sharp today. Wasn’t in his form at all.  5/10

Aaron Ramsey: Was better than Mesut Ozil, didn’t do much though. 6/10
Alexander Lacazette: Was better than Aubameyang, but not much time making the difference. 5/10
Lucas Torreira: Brought something else to the field. Was a good substitute. 6/10
Man of the match: Hard to find the best player among all the mistakes the team committed. But Mkhitaryan scored and assisted. While Iwobi deserves a mention.
Unai Emery:  A poor defensive team and in the first half they missed a lot of chances due to the random attack. He has to learn from his mistakes and improve for the upcoming matches. 5/10
