PLAYERS RATINGS: Arsenal 3-0 Watford, And Man Of The Match.

A great win today for Arsenal FC against Watford at home, Emirates Stadium, after the disappointing results in England recently. Arsenal were able to secure the three points after scoring three goals by Shkodran Mustafi in the first half, who left injured on the 67th minute, and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang alongside with Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the second half.

A good performance by Arsenal today in the first half, but in the second half the performance declined at the beginning before Arsenal scores two goals to end the match. However, Arsenal had some shaky moments in the match and missed a plenty of easy chances.

We will rate our players after every match, here is Arsenal Insider players ratings:

Petr Cech: An amazing match after the shaky performances recently. Kept a clean sheet in the first half, and saved a penalty, FINALLY! 8/10

Rob Holding: A good match, seemed calm. 7/10

Shkodran Mustafi: A good match, and a very important goal as well. Too bad he left the pitch injured ahead of AC Milan’s match with a booking. 6/10

Ainsley Maitland-Niles: A shaky match, gave awarded Watford a penalty as well. 5/10

Sead Kolasinac: Not the Kolasinac of the beginning of the season. When Monreal is fit, he doesn’t have a chance to compete with him with such performance. 6/10

Granit Xhaka:  A very average match. Booked. 6/10

Mohamed Elneny: Was solid today, way better than Xhaka, and created several chances for his team. 7/10

Henrikh Mkhitaryan:  Another good match, his chemistry with Aubameyang is helping the team at this stage. 8/10

Mesut Ozil: A good first half, but a very calm second half. He missed a one on one chance in the 27th minute where he was able to score. However, assisted the first goal. 7/10

Alex Iwobi: Wasn’t so dangerous. A very average match. 6/10

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Missed several chances, but scored a very important goal that secured the three points. 7/10

Danny Welbeck: Not sure why Wenger played him instead of resting Arsenal’s only striker in the Europa League for Thursday’s match. Didn’t do much. 5/10
Jack Wilshere: As well, Arsene Wenger had to rest him after Mkhitaryan scored the third goal and secured the result. Nketiah was able to get some minutes and rest the key players. 5/10
Man of the match: Mkhitaryan was Arsenal’s best player today where he scored and assisted a goal. However, Petr Cech and Mohamed Elneny can be the man of the match alongside with Mkhitaryan.
Arsene Wenger: A good win, but weird substitutions where Arsenal had to rest Danny Welbeck, Arsenal’s only striker in the Europa League, and Jack Wilshere. Wenger had to give a chance for Eddie Nketiah or Reiss Nelson after securing the three points. But a very important win. 6/10
