Reiss Nelson, Arsenal’s young talent, has had an interview with Arsenal Weekly Podcast that he was on the edge of joing Tottenham Hotspurs when he was younger, before he joins Arsenals.
Reiss Nelson,17 years old, has revealed in an interview that he was on the edge of joining Tottenham when he was nine years old, and Tottenham scouted him in order to sign for them.
Nelson said:”I was in Catford for about two months. I was playing for a team called Moonshot FC when I got scouted for Tottenham. I was on the edge of signing for them, and then after three to four weeks I got a phone call from Arsenal.”
Nelson continued: “I am so happy at Arsenal, I feel it’s my home. Many players like Iwobi,Lacazette,Ozil, Hector, and others are very nice people and helping me feel that I am at home.”
Knowing that Reiss Nelson is starting regularly with Arsenal this season in the Europa League and EFL Cup,Carabao Cup, and is expected to start again today against the Red Star Belgrade in a hard match that can secure Arsenal an early qualification.
