Wenger Confirms Lacazette’s Injury And He Will Miss Man United’s Clash

Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, has handed a huge injury blow after Huddersfield Town match where his main striker, Alexander Lacazette, picked up an injury.

Arsene Wenger subbed off Alexander Lacazette during the halftime for his France’s teammate, Oliver Giroud, after picking up an injury in his thigh.

Arsene Wenger said in a post-match conference:” Alexander Lacazette has picked up a groin injury, and for sure he will be out for Manchester United’s match on Saturday.”

This means Oliver Giroud, who scored twice in Huddersfield Town’s win, to start alongside with Alexis Sanchez, who also scored a goal, and Mesut Ozil, who scored once and assisted twice in just four minutes.

Arsenal will play against Manchester United next Saturday in order to fight for three points to get closer to Manchester City who is on the top of the Premier League table with 12 points gap with Arsenal.
