Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, seems that he changed his mind about the idea of selling the Chilean forward, Alexis Sanchez, during the winter transfer windows.
In a pre-match press conference ahead of Bournemouth’s match, Arsene Wenger confirmed that Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal’s forward, is committed to the team, and his recent average form isn’t related at all to his contract or will to move away from Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger was asked about Manchester United’s interest in signing Alexis Sanchez, and his reply was different than his previous answers.
Arsene Wenger said:” I can’t say a lot about this situation. Nothing is concrete now. I don’t want to give you wrong information, nothing is decided.”
This comes as a total opposite answer to Arsene Wenger confirming that Alexis Sanchez will stay until the end of his contract and that no club has offered anything for Alexis Sanchez, which is a dramatic change in Arsene Wenger’s decision and opinion about selling Alexis Sanchez.
On the other hand, Arsene Wenger hinted that selling Alexis Sanchez is down to finding a replacement after he was asked by one of the journalists if Alexis Sanchez will stay at Arsenal if Arsenal doesn’t find a replacement and Arsene Wenger said:” You summed it up very well.”
